A couple weeks ago we finally hit up Pubbelly Sushi and feasted on some big eye tuna, lobster rolls, crab cake rolls, and decadent snow crab.
Bigeye Tuna (Suriname) basil vinegar, burratina, heirloom tomato: The tuna, atop fried rice and burrata and sprinkled with coarse sea salt, was perfection. How can tuna and rice be so uniquely delicious? The bite was crunchy, savory, creamy, with the cool tuna warmed by the fried, starchy yumminess. We almost stabbed each other with chopsticks when it came down to the last piece.
Maine Lobster yuzu & celery: Look at those giant chunks of lobster. The buttery, toasted bun encompassed the shellfish like a pillow. Our only complaint was the portion size as we took turns alternating nibbles on the single lobsta roll.

Snow Crab goma soy paper, warm snowcrab, ponzu, clarified butter: Hello, lover. Between the clarified butter and the super fresh, warm snow crab, this simple, unassuming, rice paper-wrapped dish blew our minds. We ate this little guy so fast the butter didn’t even have a chance to cool before dripping down our hands.
